    I woke up in a new World...again

"intercooled Procharger or Aftercooled Vortech" Those are 2 of my preferred choices - I like the "Recirculating Oil System" on the Procharger because I'd like to avoid knocking a hole in the oil pan if possible.

    I woke up in a new World...again

After doing quite a bit of research, I'm ruling out the "Boss" mustang...and back to the Steeda, but instead of ordering a new car with Steeda Level II or Level III options, I'm thinking it would be better to upgrade my 2002 to Level II or Level III since I only owe about 4 more payments and...

    Taking spoiler off?

With a light, I could see my trunk mat through the front 2 holes and the 2 rear holes are hidden behind 2 rubber covers - so I'd have to think that you'd get water through the front 2. That was before I installed the "R" wing and filled in the original factory holes.

    Boss Mustang???????

I checked their site and I was really impressed. I've decided that if I can't afford this... http://www.teamshinoda.com/Mustang_40th%20025.jpg ...I'll just walk. I've decided against Steeda and Roush - Steeda, because I think they put too much boost and HP on what seems to be stock 2 valve...

    Steeda, Roush, Saleen?

Thanks for all the info and with all your help, I'm probably down to the Steeda, Roush or the SVT Cobra. I decided to not rule out the Cobra (3rd choice)...since the HP and trim level is expected to increase on the new version. I never really liked the Saleen as much as the Roush...so that's why...

    Steeda, Roush, Saleen?

Any 0-60 or 1/4 mile times for these 3 cars? Sean Hyland's site once showed comparisons between a few high permormance cars and it seemed like the Hyland GT bested a SVT Cobra, a Saleen SC and maybe a Kenny Brown Mustang(?) ...not sure if the Roush III was listed.

    Steeda, Roush, Saleen?

Trying to decide - I want an optioned out Mustang...that I don't need to modify and do the "bolt-on" game after I buy the car. I don't know too much about the Steeda Level III w/Super Charger, but from the options listed...it seems like it would compare to the Roush Stage III or the Saleen...

    1999 Intake swap

Replacing a cracked intake on a 1999 4.6 and I was wanting to know if many parts are needed to install the M-9424-P46 intake manifold? Looks pretty much the same except for thermostat housing and upper alternator bracket - any thing else I need to know or buy? Thanks.

    what one should i buy

Great post, but I don't agree with your last "really doesn't mean squat" for the people that have actually bought more than one unit.

    what one should i buy

This is my 1st Mustang, because I always had trucks and on the trucks...the Superchip and Diablo were highly preferred (at the F-150 forum I was at) for the 4.6 F-150s, while Hypertech and Jet were way down on the list for the trucks, but the very same people that liked the Superchip for the...

    what one should i buy

You've personally used all 3 handheld tuners? I don't know about the Diablo, but I have the Hypertech and the SC Microtuner and IMO...the SC doesn't even come close. Still haven't had a single person tell me that the SC tuning felt better in my car - they have *all* said "Wow" on the Hypertech...

    what one should i buy

Don't worry about it. But the person with the 2003 doesn't need to know about *yours* - just about the one for the 2003 that they are buying the tuner for. I'd rather buy the Hypertech or any other Tuner based on which one met someone's needs the most, not just based on it being...

    what one should i buy

An added feature that the Hypertech **already** has? So how can it be an added feature for the Microtuner if they both have it? You read wrong, because the person doesn't "have to" with a 2003. http://www.hypertech.com/fordfeaturechart.html And you have (or have had) both...right...

    what one should i buy

I read: "I have both, and you can pull dtcs with the superchips, and it is for a wide variety of cars whereas the hypertech is more year specific" See, it sounds like Hypertech can't pull DTC's. And you never should have responded about DTC's... Because it can display the codes. Perhaps...

    what one should i buy

Then I don't get the part where you make it seem like the Microtuner can be used up and down the street on several cars at the same time? On my Microtuner, it was "VIN Locked" to my car and my car only...just like the Hypertech. But if you're talking about SC's Microtuner DTC reading mode -ONLY-...

    what one should i buy

You're not talking about the Superchip micro tuner, I trust. Are you comparing the Professional style "Lap top" Superchip custom tuner to the Hypertech programmer?
  17. BuffaloZone

    what one should i buy

I would recommend the Hypertech over the Superchips (Micro tuner) because I have both and IMO the Hypertech just walks off and leaves the Superchip tuner. Every single person that has been in my car testing both programs (and same mods being tested) have always said that the Hypertech pulls...

    what tranny cooler?

Yeah now I noticed that the B&M is 1" shorter, but the core is twice as thick as the Ford cooler.

    what tranny cooler?

They're probably all the *same* "stacked plate" design cooler as the Ford Racing 18,000gvw unit that I paid $47.00 for... Yes, I just looked at the B&M photo and it looks 100% exactly like the Ford cooler I bought.

    what tranny cooler?

Not any harder than installing a cat-back exhaust, but I used an above ground lift.
