    Questions about 99-04 cars

If you want reliability, go for the 03 if its in good shape at a good price. I have a 15month old and a 5 year old. While its not a 'family car', it certainly fits my wife, 5 year old and 15 month old. Are we all nice and comfy? Not necessarily, but we all aren't in it very much. Most of...

need advice on tires about to buy a new set

I have 4 of the G-force sport in my garage I just got from tire rack in 275 size. Do a search on G-force sport. I posted a few weeks back about them. Tire rack had a lot of good news about them. A couple SRT-4 owners had KDW from the factory and then bought the sports and liked them better...

    BFGoodrich G-force Sport Tires

I think I'm sold on these in size 255/45/R17 for 114 on tirerack. Apparently the SRT-4 comes from the factory with KDW2s. A couple SRT-4 owners on tire rack wrote reviews that they liked the G-force sport more than the KDW2. Some reviews from them: "Fantastic tire; I had BFG KDW2 from...

    BFGoodrich G-force Sport Tires

BFGoodrich says they are the same tire compound as the KD series. Also, read this on epinions.com from a reviewer: "It is a little advertised fact that these are the same street tires used in the Skip Barber Race Series on the R/T 2000 open wheeled formula cars for their Regional, National...

    BFGoodrich G-force Sport Tires

Anyone running these tires? They get pretty good reviews on TireRack. For $104 less per tire than GS-D3s, they are hard to pass on if they are as good as the reviews say they are. Only reason I was going to pass on the KDW2 is because of the road noise and treadwear. Thanks!

    Help me choose tires

In my research, I've read that the tread width should be within + or - 1/2 inch of the rim you put it on. Based on that, 255 seems to be the widest you should put on a 17x8. Others have put 275s on without issues, but its generally not recommended by the tire manufacturers.

    Help me choose tires

By the way tom, I grew up in Nazareth, my moms from Allentown. They still live there so I'm up there every couple months. If you see a burnt orange 71 Rally Nova running around, that's my dad.

    Help me choose tires

Probably will drag the car 5 nights per year max. Mods in sig. I'm thinking of going with the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 for street and strip use. Question, if I'm still on stock 17x8 rims, am I going to get enough traction with 245/45 zr17s? What if I step up to 255/45 zr17s? I'm about to...

    Installed Steeda Sport Springs

Mustangworld directions did not have you unbolt the control arm. Just unbolted the quad and rear shock. Then after lowering all the way, you still needed to pull down on the rear axle to get the spring to pop out. Roaddane, No, I didn't replace the shocks/struts at the same time...
