    Will the internals from any $r70W trans fit into my AOD case (4.6 mod or V6 motors and are the 4r70w trans from the crown vics and soforth as strong?

    Does anyone know what's all involved in being able too swap a 4R70W trans from a 01-04 V6 mustangs into an 66 mustang with the AOD in it. I know the bellhousings are the same and they'll bolt in. These trannys are much stronger than the AOD also. Any info would be of great help

    Yea, the ford V10 will go right in. I have a 1988 mustang coupe that i swap out the factory K-Member for a tubualar one for mod motors and used motor mounts from a 03 4.6 (bolt right on).     Yes, they'll slide right in. You'll have too use the axles also, but everything will bolt right on without any mods.

    BUDGET 5 LUG SWAP

    Yes th mark VII rotors with not work with factory 17's (cobras, bullits, ect...), They'll fit, but you wont be able too run the center caps on them. You'll need too get the spindle assembly from and sn95 car too make them work right. (just a note, the 99-04 cars came with dual piston calipers)...
