    The X heads i ran had 2.02 intake valves and i was running 1.7's with my E-cam on their 55cc chambers no problems. I'm not planning on going boosted anytime in the near future. If there is some sort of clearance problem, i'll probably just switch to 1.6's and get a bigger cam.

    With just an axle swap nothing really. Since you're swaping diff covers i would recommend you change your diff oil and fluid. Look into GM's fluid. Its the best out there. As far as axles you don't need anything new. Just swap.

    If you are planning on building a serious high compression stroker and perhaps running nitrous through it eventually, have you considered any performance blocks? Mexican block would work and it won't much more expensive.

    112 degrees or 114

    My E-cam has a LSA of 110*. Stock cam is 118.5*. 114* and 112* will give you no problems on the street. I got lucky and my car responded quite well to the 110LSA of the E-cam. I only get a little idle stutter when the car is cold at startup but i'm still untuned. Don't be affraid to run lower LSA.
