    $500 to install LT headers????

    I was quoted $500 to install LT headers on my 98 cobra. Ouch I was expecting it to be in the $200-275 range? How much did you guys pay? I would really rather not have to tackle this one on my own but geez I might have to for $500.

    Alright i think im just going to go w/ the Kenny Brown Super Subs. The extreme matrix i think is a little much. More for road race cars and stuff. My car doesnt get driven many miles its just for show and the occasional trip to the track to show the vettes and vipers whose #1. :nice:

    First time using dr's ?'s need answering

    I have the nittos not the BFG and i run them at 17psi. I definetly don't hook up from a 4K drop maybe around 3200 or so and they still spin a tad....you just have to test and tune and get the feel for them and your car. Good luck bud

    I agree w/ about $500-700 depending on condtion I would say all four seats are probaly worth the $700 but he's your friend and your getting his seats in return so you'd have to make the final call there.

    X pipe or H pipe w/ longtubes???

    Im planning on installing a set of Longtube headers here shortly...probably the Macs...they dont make the prochamber for the 96-98 cobra because of the transmission crossbrace or whatever so what X pipe or H pipe should I get? I want the LOUDEST possible so it sounds like a gotta stroked big...

    What Gas Station Do You Use?

    What about Sunoco guys? they have 93 and even 94 octane. The one up here even sell Cam2 race fuel....Mostly I use shell though and Sunoco when im going out crusin instead of daily driving cuz i think the Sunoco is a lil better and I pay the couple pennies more to get the 94 octane

    $1400 to spend need help

    I thought dude wanted a NX kit? I would definetly get that kit....take ur tires and get drag radials and gears or even better would be to get some welds w/ ET streets and build up your rear...should be close to 11's then if not in them!!!!

    I agree w/ all of the above...definetly some great input. N20 would definetly be a great choice on a more stock 00GT and you would pick up major hp/tq and like the dude mentioned the $ you have to spend would give you a killer safe setup. Heads and cams would also give you mucho hp...tough...

    Which Octane?

    For your car (or friends car or whatever) regular gas is fine but if you start modifying any futher you should probably step it up some. Especially if he advances the timing or decides to run a power adder he's gunna need premium gas then.

    Can someone inform me of what exactly SAE is and what it stands for? Is SAE like your real dyno numbers and whats the difference if its uncorrected? Its always higher if not corrected to SAE isnt it? Thanks for the info I am getting my car dynoed in the next couple months when I bring it out.
