    I run GM syncromesh and it works great! Although you can buy pennzoil syncromesh which is the exact same thing and it costs less than half as much. Look for it at an autozone type store.

    I'll do that if I can get my hands on a voltmeter. But by the connector, do you mean the part that plugs into the o2 sensor or the connector at the main harness that plugs into the o2 sensor harness?

    That sounds like a better idea. The Vacuum cap is really thin. I would run a hose from the front nipple to the back nipple except for the fact that I can't even feel the back nipple. It's so covered in harnesses and crap that there's no way to get there. :(

    As always, pull your trouble codes. A hum is normal for a fuel pump, I believe.

    I would recommend lower than a 200 amp fuse. The reason being the higher the rating the longer it will take to blow even when there is a huge spike.

    I don't want to be the guy who brings bad news, but when you get new heads and manifold, you're pushing the powerband upwards. You will almost for sure lose low end torque to some extent. Can't help you with the manifold choice. Just porting your lower manifold might be enough to match...

    Yep I did the same thing. I grinded with a drill and I went through about 3 stones before it was all done. It was easy.
