    what temp stat? what kind of stat? A cheap attempt would be to put a Mr. Gasket high flow style stat in, it can help a little bit sometimes... How thick is the summit core? Didn't think they made smaller than 1" single?

    ya i'd have to agree with that, and add that maybe your gauge is wrong... I don't care how good your coolant system is if the stat isn't open it's not going to work.

    ah just a follow up, I found a 192 deg unknown brand thermostat :shrug: in there. It wouldn't even fit in the thermostat housing the right way so they had put it in backwards. With the 180* stat it stays around the "N" which it should, oh and the fan kicks on right after the first mark which...

    oh and it doesn't use the low speed... only kicks on the high speed.... ECT shows kicks on around 195 or so...

    well I dunno if mines been tampered with but my fan turns on earlier (and stays on all the time). I was watching it with a scanner before and the ECT was reporting 197-205 idling and the fan was on the whole time :shrug:.

    yes actually I too like the Mr. Gasket large diameter thermostats :D. I figure if it's a little too cool the ECU will be turning fan on and off anyways...

    could be rings aren't sealed... how new is the supercharger? Any oil in the intake tract between S/C and throttle body?

    I know different motors like more or less heat, I know mopars dyno better with colder water temps in general... what about fords? Any down sides to going to a 180?

    nah I no it doesn't have anything in the MAF wiring (I rewired the engine bay)... but where on the PCM is this port? That's what i'd like pics of :D
