    OMG, anyone seen this before

This is one of the worst modded cars I have ever seen, http://www.dealsonwheels.com/search/detailbig.cfm/Autos__ID/103357. Why couldn't it at least have been a Camaro?

Tonight I say goodbye to my fastback

I will get you a pic this weekend. We are picking up the car on Sunday and bringing it home. Look on here for the pic later Sunday evening. Thanks for your help.

Tonight I say goodbye to my fastback

Yeah, I checked it out, looks great, nice work. Did you replace the front pillar at all, where the door bolts too? That is the one that is bent, can I replace that one in the same manner?

Tonight I say goodbye to my fastback

I know, that's why I had to keep it hush hush, at least from Blake. But as they say, the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence. For me, I wanted to finish the car but it would be a few years before I could afford to do anything to it. This way, I can start with another...

Tonight I say goodbye to my fastback

Well, it is a sad night, the new owner is here to pick up the fastback, and of course he loves it. So I bid my fastback a fond farewell and thank it for the great memories I will keep from it. Knowing I will find a convertible really seems to help getting through this.

    Humphugger Console?

Here is the one I have in my fastback (I am saying good bye to her tonight, :( ). I really liked it, it matched the color of my interior very well, but you obviously cannot replace the original.

Possibly buying a 67 coupe rolling chassis - questions

Yeah, I would love to see them so if you could either post them or email them to me that would be great. Thanks.

Possibly buying a 67 coupe rolling chassis - questions

I found a 67 coupe rolling chassis which is in MUCH better condition than the project. It is a v8 car too so the conversion is much easier. We are picking it up this weekend if it is as the fella described and it should be much simpler. For instance, it doesn't need frame rails, engine...

    Welder Question

I third that, buy gas shielded. It isn't fun filling holes on a brand new quarter panel after burning through with flux core.

    Welder Question

I too recommend buying one. I use a Lincoln 110 with gas shielding and it is great, like spreading butter. For spot welds, I drill small holes where the original spot welds are and then fill the holes to the part it is welded to. Works great and many shops use this approach if they don't have...

    Hello Folks....I'm Baaaack

Well I doubt that...haha. I thought you went from Ozsum67 to Ozsum2 because you sold your 67 and bought a 74 Mustang II. No?

    67 coupe project pics

Actually the sun visors are in great shape too. The back seat is also untorn but since we are recovering the front seats we want a perfect match. The only concern I have are doing the inner rockers, they do not look fun. Anyone have any good tips on repairing/replacing them? Can you get them...

    67 coupe project pics

I know, I should be redoing the 68 coupe for him and using this as the parts car. At least everything will be new on this car pretty much.

    67 coupe project pics

Well, there is some progress being made, I have cut out the front fender aprons on the driver side leaving the shock tower in to line up with. I have also cut away the seat pan on the driver's side, welded the cowl repair panels in and sealed them. I will then test the seal and add paint...

How many spot welds are there on a cowl?

There were 4 welds right around one of the export brace bolt holes, I couldn't believe it...Probably about 12 within the span of 8 inches...

    Brake problems, and a question

I will bet on the springs. The brake fluid is pushed to the wheel cylinder when the brakes are applied. As soon as they are released, the springs pull the shoes back forcing the brake fluid to retract in the lines to master cylinder. The other thing I would look at is the brake pedal, is it...

How many spot welds are there on a cowl?

I betcha that I drilled over 100 holes tonight trying to get the cowl off, what a pita.

What do you guys think of this rear frame rail...rusted too bad?

It looks very similar to the one on the coupe I am doing. It could be driven on for a while I am sure, but obviously you want to fix it when you can. I have this car completely disassembled right now though and need to replace the tail light panel and rear cross member anyway. I am just going...
