    yeah i have jack stands and a good floor jack. I don't plan on lowering it i just want replacement shocks since the ones on now are shot to ****. Heck i think i'll give it a shot........at least the rears first so i can see what i'm getting into as far as tools and time.

    I'm getting new struts and shocks for my 96 gt. My question is how hard is this to install. Do i need additional items besides the stuts and shocks. I've never done this before so i'm kinda nervous about messing things up. Do i need a special tool? Will i need alignment after the install? sorry...

    low gas light question

    thanks evryone I was wrong i don't have the low fuel indicator as i thought. Oh well at least now i know it wasn't a burnt bulb or a fuse.

    I'm at work right now and can't check but i think if i turn my ignition on without starting the car it shows a gas light. Not comming on when the fuel is low, could it be a fuse? I also don't get the key in the ignition chime.

    I have a 96 gt and i never had the low gas light come on, does the 96 gt have this feature? If so why won't mine come on? BTW i have run out of gas and it never came on.

    I have about 91000+ miles on it and i have it for almost 2 years. The car runs fine but i havent done anything to it besides the regular oil change, so i thought i'd give it a tune up. it's a stick.:nice:

    Torque to specs? Do i really need a torque wrench or can i just use a regular socket wrench? Whats the specs on the gap for a 96 gt stock?

    I plan on doing my own tune up (First time) and want to know what will i need to do. 1. spark plugs 2. spark plug wires 3. fuel filter Is this all i need to change? I read i should get 9mm wires and NGK's spark plug "copper" on a scale from 1- 10, 10 being hardest how hard is the tune up...
