    100% agree. I just installed this exhaust setup on my 02 GT. It is extremely loud, a bit raspy and tinny when decelerating. Working on a sounds clip also.

    Welding Flowmaster Catback??

    Well I don't plan on getting rid of the catback at any point as I love the sound of it. Maybe go from X to H pipe, but that's about it. I think I will check out a good welder and see what they will charge me. Worst case scenario I will find some wider beefier clamps. Thanks all.

    I live about 1/2 hour from Mustangsunlimited in CT so I purchased and picked it up there. I paid 380.00 (tax included). I went with the American Thunder and I tell ya.....ITS FRIGGIN LOUD!! I had a 94 with the same exact setup and it doesnt even compare to my current 02 in loudness:D

    I just had my 4:10's installed last Friday. I asked them If I needed to break them in. The mechanic said he drove it around for about 8 miles and that I should take it easy for a bit. I forgot what he said after my first red light...lol. I been ripping on it since:D

    Yeah, thats what I'm thinking, driving a stock GT and making a comparison. Maybe even racing another. I think Im a lil weary at first of smoking tires/using more gas/and banging gears to much than usual, lol. That's why I bought the gears though.......so I can do all that sh&t:D

    I noticed with GT's 2001.5 and up they used a different tranny, which makes the RPM difference. I think it's a T45 in the lower years and a 3650 in mine. I think? lol
