    Well I have had both systems. Mac had lots drone, they did sound good though but not on long tripes. Switched to the packs and no drone at all.

    4.10's / new shift points?

    With any gear change in an automatic you are going to want the shift points changed. Heck even with the stock gears a tune on the shift points makes a big difference. I still need to get a tune for my 4.10s and stall converter. I'm in 4th by 30mph.

    Headers..how much difference does brand make?

    I would go with MAC LT headers, O/R X pipe (get a true X like magnaflows or VRS), and the regualer magnaflow mufflers. Its a great sound and not to loud.

    As of right now I think the Steeda is the best for the 2011 but I would say JLT is the best for the 1996-2010 stangs.
