    to answer the squeaking problem, mine did the same thing. it ended up being the a ball joint.     yeah, I remember when I first put my flame thrower kit on my car, I would pull up to every light with flames shooting out both sides of my car. now I use it only when someone asks me to see it. thats why I don't want to spend a lot of money if I get them.

    clunk from rear end when engaging first gear.

    mine did the same thing. I checked the u-joints on the ds and they where all fine. ended up being the 4 bolts conecting the ds to the pinion on the on the rearend were loose. quick turn of the wrench and problem fixed.
