    I was wondering how to calculate tire size. I was thinking of picking up 17x9 or 18x9 steeda ultralite satins. What tire size would be best for either combination. What do you think would be the pros or cons of either wheel size? Apparently, the weight difference is only .5 lbs. for each rim.

    whoops my bad, typo. '96 r33 spec v. i think it's at 500 awhp right now with mild mods. car was imported and converted. it's right-hand drive. i really like it because of the variable awd system and 4 wheel steering. on top of having a solid and easily mod-able motor.

    i went with the mach 1. i didn't care to pay more for the cobra name or red calipers with ponies. plus, i'm anal and i'd have to buy the rear brakes to match, too.

    i like the 3.27's also. really reasonable. i doubt i'll do the rears. i don't feel like having to pay for the install. $175 for the brakes would be easy, just wouldn't want to pay the labor.
