The last time I ask for opinions, sorry but I need to:

We know it has nothing to do with compassion when talking about you Oz, as you have none. Weren't you taught to never use a word in a sentence that you don't know the meaning for?

New to the fourum. How do I sell my 65 Gt Convert almost completed project

GP, I am not trying to butt heads with you, I am simply making a point that you are typically one who likes to call others names, and I quote even within this thread "You come to this thread just to post a shot at me, what a :taco:. " as well as "If I am truly out of bounds they will boot my but...

New to the fourum. How do I sell my 65 Gt Convert almost completed project

GP, you have been guilty of not following alot of the "non-classified" rules on here yourself, maybe when you follow all of the rules yourself you can try to enforce them... Tomy2tone01, welcome to the forum and good luck on the sale of your car. You can post it in the classifieds section...

I know this has been asked before but...

How the heck do you remove an old leaf spring, I cannot get the bolt out of the front attachment...I have tried heat, lubricating oil, etc to get it out...Any advice is greatly appreciated. I am not trying to save the bold or the spring. Thanks.

WOW, you have to see this 66 on Ebay!!!

You hear the "frame-off" restoration used all of the time even though it isn't true by definition. To me, it has become a figure of speech. The car itself looks pretty nice and I think they did a good job on it by the looks of it. I have seen far worse misleading ads than this one...

If you're thinking of buying this car (1967 GTA)

Agreed, but if you are gonna pay 34k for the car, you would expect it to be done correctly and that looks like poor work IMO. If the rest of the restoration is like that, you can plan on doing it again in the not too distant future.

How would you repaint my car??????

Pak, I vote for option 1. I think that Option 3 would look very nice, but it reminds me too much of Eleanor and quite frankly, it has turned me off that color. I know it would look nice on your car, but why mess with success??? Either way I am very glad to hear you talking positively...

    66 Mustang Convertible Help

How does the body look, check for rust in all of the most common areas. If it is a solid car, it is definitely worth the price even as a 6 cyl. Good luck.

Well, it's pretty much official now......

I agree with Blake. No replacement vehicle will ever feel the same IMO. I hope it works out for you. Good luck. :nice:

    Boyd's show

I have never liked that show since I first saw it. I do like American Chopper though, the characters are likeable and I really enjoy watching Jr. and Vinnie working together, the seem to be good buddies. As for Boyd's, I cannot think of one character that I actually like. I mean, if two guys...

    Well, my car is totaled...........................

OMFG! Pak, I am sooooo glad you are okay...I know the car is only metal, but come on fellas, they become a part of us when we put so much time effort and "love" into them, love for our hobby, love for our cars. Pak, I know how much that car means to you and if you choose to get her back and...

    Progress update - pics

Come on, don't leave me hanging, please explain, how can I measure this? Is it possibly the angle of the pic? I only have one side out at any given time.

How can I measure that to make sure it hasn't twisted? I have measured along the frame rails and everything is nice and square right now up front. The car is at an angle in the pic, it wasn't levelled when I did that. Here is another pic from a different angle.

Can a newbie paint their own car?

The preparation is the largest part of doing a successful paint job anyway. I am planning on doing my first paint job when the 67 coupe is ready, but I am priming and painting the inside of the floor pans etc first to see how well it turns out. If you are stripping yours down and doing the...

Can a newbie paint their own car?

Purchase the "How to Paint Your Mustang Book" as it is very helpful. It can be done, just need to make sure your paint area is very clean. Don't cheap out on the sprayer either, it needs to be of high quality to do a good job. Good luck.

    Progress update - pics

The color is going to be a copper color, that is some off the shelf spray paint I bought to give the person I am doing the car for an idea of how it will look. He really likes the new copper color of the Nissan Murano's so we are going to do a color along those lines.

Thanks. Yeah, I am doing ALL the work myself, with the exception of the motor rebuild. That is going to have to wait.
