    vehicle not responding

    so after moving all my wires to the fender, I have a check engine light., I tried to scan it and it says vehicle not responding? what could I have not hooked up for the data link not to send a signal to the cpu, and if I try to manually prime the fuel pump, it wont work "through the data link"...

    yo, the only reason the wires were under the fender is because I put them there, yours should be under the solenoid unless you also moved them.

    voltage drop??

    yes pulling all the fuses should get rid of the voltage drop, unless you have a stereo, amp etc feeding from battery.. also, make sure the trunk light, dome lights area off doors are closed when you do the test, you should have some voltage drop from, cpu clock etc, good luck..

    okay, so I hid all of my wires from the solenoid under the drivers side fender, I also hid my msd 6al wires under there, but now I have a check engine light. I tried jumping the terminals like my chiltons manual said to read the codes on the dash, but nothing happens, so my question is...

    not really sure what purple wire it is, it just ran to the solenoid, and when I moved the wires under the fender, I accidently hooked it to ground. but now my check engine light is on.

    YO, just so ya all know, I fixed the problem, I had a wire that needed to go to the solenoid going to ground, it was purple, and I am a little color blind, "seriously" and thought it was black. well, thanks for all the replies, and im sure I will be posting again :) he he, just before I got it...

    also, I can hear the ecu relay click when I turn the key to the run position, and I can also hear the coil make weird noses when I hook and unhook the grounds. still no power or something , fuel pump still wont turn on or no spark. gettin mad here, looks like all is hooked up, and all fuses...

    first off, thanks for the replies, second , yes I feel I have everything connected, just maybe not to the right places :) third, yes I have ll the fuse links connected to the battery side of the solenoid, and I think I have all of the grounds hooked up.. seems like the ecu doesn't have power...

    bad miss at half throttle/cruise?????

    definetly could be vaccuum leak. try checkin for one with brake cleaner and listen for engine to rev up. also check all lines and the line to the pcv valve. sounds like you might have a sticky egr valve. just some ideas. try pushin on the diaphram on the egr and see if it unsticks. test...

    wierd idle problem (stalling when coming to a stop) with new setup

    there are a few things you can do to fix this. I had the same problem. my cure was just to adjust the throttle blade set screw on the throttle body. this allows more air at idle. also you could have a bad or dirty IAC motor. it is on the throttle body. you can take it off and clean it out...

    which master and combination valve

    I am doing a thunderchicken rear disc swap in my 89 and want to know what master cylinder I should use? there are so many options and I am confused on which one I should use. also, can I use a master cylinder and combination valve out of a newer mustang? instead of a adjustable one? thanks.
