check eng light/after hiding wires in fender

okay, so I hid all of my wires from the solenoid under the drivers side fender, I also hid my msd 6al wires under there, but now I have a check engine light. I tried jumping the terminals like my chiltons manual said to read the codes on the dash, but nothing happens, so my question is...
are there any wires going to the solenoid that could cause a check engine light?

yah, I was just curious what wires going to the solenoid would cause a code, also, weird that I cant jump the wires. p.s I love your avatar man.
