    I know if you use a 80's mustang rack and pinion on early mustang you turn steering wheel left car would turn right. What if you use a rack pinion from a taurus or some front wheel drive car. Then fab a bracket to mount it on the early mustang?

    any 302 289 351 will engine will fit. You will have to use motor mounts for the mustang not the truck. Throw the fuel injected manifold away and simply bolt on the carburetor manifold on.

    302HO with gt40p heads

    Im sure you are close to 260 hp. Ive heard that gt40p heads go flat in hp after 400 lift so duration is your friend. I have a simulair combo but my camshaft has allot of duration. 226 duration and .474 lift and it works great. It diffeniatly pulls real hard.

    Modifying shifter for AOD?

    Edelbrock says that the AOD isn't compatable with there carbureted intake manifolds. I figured the transmission wouldn't be able to shift correctly but maybe I'm wrong.
