    Overheating question, need opinions

The stock radiator should be a 2 core. First things to check are: 1 : Make sure you have the fan in the right direction. Pulling air and not pushing. I'm not saying your stupid, just we have all been in a rush and overlooked something simple. 2 : get a real guage to see the actual temp...

    v6 T5 the same as the 94-95 GT T5?

The tranny is the same, but the bellhousing is NOT. The flywheel on the V6 is bigger than a 5.0 so it put's the starter further away with the 6 bellhousing. If this is in reguards to a V8 swap, you need the V8 bellhousing or the starter will not enguage.

    2-Bolt + Main Girlde Question

I don't think a main girdle will make the block any stronger. A block will handle what it can handle. I'm sure it will help however. If you plan on pushing the limits of the stock block, and are looking for cheaper ways to help it live longer, mabey you should forget those worries and just...

    searched but no answers

Your heater core is leaking it looks like. As for the floor pans, just take your time and make sure you grind everything flat and clean. Sometimes you have to trim the new ones slightly because of too much overhang between panels. And spray it all with etching primer AND rustoleum before...

Yes, Another one of these, Please Help !!!

The input shaft looked great, and no play in it either. I used a centerforce T/O bearing. I took my time and looked over everything, so I assume I did a good job. No issues with getting anything back together. It seemed great and smooth. The old bearing retainer was a little "wavy" to the...

    Problems with 5.0 please help

I think you have the same problem I am currently fixing. The tranny is leaking from the front bearing retainer seal. And the throwout bearing is shot because of it. The smoke would be from tranny fluid being thrown onto the exhaust and burning off. You don't see leaks because it will only...

    Carb Guys Please Help

That's the float bowl vent. Your carb is probably gummed up so the float won't raise up to stop fuel from entering the bowl. Therefore it will overfill and spit out the vent. Or the float itself is bad and the same thing would happen. Especially if it hasn't run for a year, I would say it's...

    95 3.8 to 5.0 Swap

I did a swap in my 79 coupe. Somewhat simple swap. Make sure you have a donor car and take EVERYTHING. There are too many subtle differences in places you would NEVER think to look. The only answer is take your time and correct any problems, don't try to force anything together. Mine came...

Way too long story behind this, and I have been searching everywhere for the last 4 hours. So, what color wires connect to what for the cruise control connection for a 1995 5.0 mustang AND for a 1996 4.6 mustan? I can not find a wiring digram anywhere that shows anything about the...

    Need help with AC!

This just happened to me, I am in FL also. Check your voltage at the low pressure switch. You should have voltage at both wires when your AC is turned on. If it's good then the switch is fine. If not, replace switch and problem solved. If it's not the switch, check the voltage at the...
