    i'm guessing but i don't think it's the oil as the level does not change as you noted. really a little smoke is normal. could it be moisture? mobil 1 and amsoil to the best of my knowledge are the only true (pao) synthetic oils. castrol, pennzoil, valvoline and etc. are hydrocracked oils...

    maybe i shouldn't have used the word burning. all, i know is i was losing oil quicker with mobil 1 which was partially corrected by using hydrocracked oil.

    i had that experience with mobil 1 in my 5.0. i went to "fake" synthetic hydrocracked oil and my oil burning slowed from a quart every 500 to 800 miles to around 2500.

    Not the best picture in the world so I guess staff photographer for Motor Trend is not going to happen. :lol: I was not expecting anything along the lines of improved steering so it comes as a bonus. Perhaps it's the bearings that improve the steering and ride?

    i only use paper filters also. i live near the beach and fine particle silica (sand) is a problem. if you hold a k&n and a paper filter up to the light in an auto parts store you can see the difference. i'm willing to sacrifice 0 to 4 hp to filter smaller micron particles.

    wide tires can be tough going in the snow. i assume the greater contact area reduces the average downward force so the tires tend to sit on the snow rather than dig in.

    this would be the best kit for me also. i'm waiting to hear if the kit can be safely tuned to run on premium gas in the south's heat without detonation. i'd settle for around 370rwhp with 9psi as a daily driver.

    exactly!!! :nice: back to the dyno thing. yes the company can sue for slander or libel. that does not mean the case has any merit. the company can sue with the intent harass you and no intention of winning.

    hot day runnin' a/c my 4.6 is alot slower. gotta love that 1st fall cold snap it's like 50hp from nowhere . ;)
