Sorry for the lame question but where the heck is the fuel filter on a 2002 GT?

Where do I relieve the fuel pressure?

Pressure is relieved by disconnecting a wire in the trunk. Driver's side. (Reset switch, I think. You have to remove a panel). The filter is located just in front of the fuel tank. You will need a spring lock disconnect tool, available at most auto parts stores for around $10. Recommended: Goggles and a lot of paper towels, because you WILL spill gas.
