Which upper rad hose for sep. belt?

I need to know what upper radiator hose you guys use, when you convert to a serpentine belt. I got a hose from NPD that is supposed to work but its too short, and the stock 91 hose has too small a ID for the radiator. Thanks

If you raise fuel pressure, does the computer correct the richer condition?

The computer only adjusts the fuel/air during cruise. When at WOT the computer goes to pre-set fuel tables for WOT which is around 12:1 for a stock engine. When you start to add power to your car, those tables are no longer valid. Cruise is ok because the computer is adjusting it for 14.7:1...

thanks autoxr1. What about the fittings on the fuel rails for the feed and return lines? Will the 6an hose fit the stock fittings without problems?

    EFI Conversion: Fuel lines?

Hi guys. I'm getting all the parts I need to do my EFI conversion. Right now I'm on the fuel system. I'm planning on using 6AN Aeroquip socketless hose. Will this fit the stock fuel rails and tighten up without leaking or bursting off? If this won't work what type of fuel line would you suggest?

Did I get the right headers?

It says multiple times in the description that they are ceramic coated. It seems like false advertising to me.

Did I get the right headers?

Ok that confirms it. They are the wrong ones. I got them off of ebay, here is a link to the auction Could someone look at the auction and tell me if I got what I should have?

Did I get the right headers?

:bang:  OK. I'm pretty mad right now, and I need someone to confirm this for me. I bought a set of hooker headers that were supposed to be ceramic coated, and new in box. The ones I got look like they are painted black, and they have spots of rust on them. So tell me. Are ceramic headers...

    Another oil pressure problem

Ok, my oil pressure is acting very weird. The problem first started a few months ago a little while after I bought the car. When I first got the car every thing was fine. After a few months and about 3000 miles. I notice my oil pressure drops to about 10psi, only when the car is hot, and only at...

    5spd auto

I don't have any problem with a 6 speed being an option for GT. Its just that it will somewhat detract from the cobra's top-of-the-line-mustang image. Ford would much rather make you spend more for a cobra. Seriously, I wonder if a few years from now we will have 7/8 speed transmissions in...

    The Complaint Department

I seem to remember reading about the last shelby mustangs (69/70) that had the rear neck filler with the exhaust outlet right below it. In rare cases, if you overfilled the tank, the gas would leak out the filler cap under acceleration (gas caps weren't sealed). It would then run down onto the...

Difference in price between EFI and 289?

I wish I could do mine for $500. I'm up to a $1000 right now and still have more parts to get. However I did buy a entire engine, it still needs litte parts here and there, it adds up fast. How many miles does the 5.0 have? If it will last awhile you can always rebuild it down the road.

    I've never once bent a tool...until today.

 Either you were using a crapy ratchet, or you've just found the strongest 7/16-1/2 steel bolt in existence.

    Using Pickle-fork cause damage?

Well, I'll be getting new tie-rods to do the conversion, and hopefully they will come with new seals. I'm still not sure about the spindle ball joint seals though. Thanks for the replies, its greatly appreciated.

    Using Pickle-fork cause damage?

I'm getting ready to do the granada front disc conversion on my 69 mustang. I was told to use a Pickle-fork to seperate the tie rods and the spindle from the ball-joints. However my mustang restoration book tells me that using a PF will damage the dust boots, and that I should use a "C"...
