    Lowering bucket seats? Need help.

They have had a few tech stories in Mustang Monthly and Mustangs and Ford about how to lower the seat height. They suggested removing the seat risers and cutting an inch out and welding them back in. You could check on one of their sites, I'm sure they have the full story.

    can you re-use head bolts?

On certain engines (mostly late model) they use a "torque to yield" tightening plan. Basically, bolts stretch as they are torqued down and this creates a clamp load. After the bolts are taken off they should return to their original length, but in a "torque to yield" plan they stretch the bolt...

    Clutch Help

Anyone know of a stock diaphram clucth kit that I could get from someplace like Autozone that would fit a '68 302? I thought the flywheel (157t) would fit 10 or 10.5? Would something form like an '80's mustang or bronco fit? I am converting from FMX to a T-5Z ( t-5 bellhousing) with the JMC...

    Plastic Media Blasting

I had my '69 blasted for around $750 with primer. I had to spend about a month looking around though. Most shops around here wanted around $1200-$1500 to blast plus $200 for primer. I finally found two shops that quoted me $750 with primer and one shop that rents its blast booth on weekends. I...

    Door Shells???

I used repop doors on my '69 and they fit really nice. I only has one issue with the top of the door on the front edge. The gap between the door and the front fender was uneven. My bodyman fixed it with little problem and now they fit perfect.

    Power locks

I have not installed mine yet, but I got everything including a keyless entry system off ebay for around $25 with shipping. They came with brackets to attach the power lock to the standard manual lock rod. After that you just need to drill the holes to mount the power lock unit.

    budget 393

I was wondering if anyone has built a 393 strokers with the 3.850 crank, stock 351w rods, and 302 pistons? I was wondering what work needs to be done to the block? Are their any clearance issues? I have heard yes and no. What parts did you use if you didn't have any issues? What pistons do I...

    1969 Mustang Cowl Panel

Anyone have pic of the upper cowl panel on a 1969 Mustang? The cowl, hood and front window were off the car when I bought it and I am not sure how it goes on. I bought the body manual, but it does not show how this goes on. I see there are screws in the front, but what holds on the rear by the...

Where do I start for a total rebuild of 68 coupe

Ray charged me around $500-$600 bucks. Priming the car costs extra. He did it as a side job and it took about 8 months. I didn't bother me because it gave me time to set up my garage. There is a place called Metallizers in Belleville that quoted me the same price and said it would take 2 weeks...

Where do I start for a total rebuild of 68 coupe

I've seen people use a bat to roll the lip and they had a tech on it last year in Mustang Monthly I think, but Eastwood make a tool for rolling the lips now. It's a little expensive at around $200-$300 buck I think.
