    Actually, come to think of it, (this is going to sound like a bad info-mercial) since I started using Star-Tron fuel treatment 3 years ago, I haven't had any gas separation issues. They even claim it can repair old fuel.

    I did loosen the hold down (heck, I removed the hold-down) and there is no way I can pull this thing straight up. I used more persuasive force with the hammer and got it to move. Basically, the only way to adjust it is with the hammer.
