    Installing Underdrive Pullies?

Yeah I came up with the same two ideas... Crowsfoot wrench or grind/cut down a socket. I will try them out tomorrow, wish me luck.

    Installing Underdrive Pullies?

I bought a set of used ASP underdrives and didn't get an instructions or hardware... Well I found out the hard way that the crank pulley uses bolts with Allen heads after I tried to install it with the stock hardware. I got one of the stock bolts about 99% tight when the socket popped off the...

Interesting engine combo in an old MM+FF mag

Those parts making that kind of power on a 306 isn't that hard to believe; but that the motor made those numbers at that RPM and with that compression is a little surprising. A 306 may be fairly small for a V8 but it's still a lot of displacement in a much more general sense... enough to make...

Where to buy parts online... who has truly free shipping?

I should point out that American Muscle does indeed have free shipping and they are a great place to deal with, they just don't carry Energy Suspension yet... I called them and was told they will have their full line available very soon though.

Where to buy parts online... who has truly free shipping?

Thanks for the tip, I went in to Autozone today and ordered the part I needed, $3.99 and they should have it tomorrow or the day after... perfect :D

Where to buy parts online... who has truly free shipping?

Yeah, I looked on eBay but everyone wants $10 shipping per item too...

Where to buy parts online... who has truly free shipping?

Anyone know of a place that sells Energy Suspension stuff that has real free shipping? Not this $10 handling charge BS that Summit and other places try and add on. I just need to buy some ball joint boots and new end links that no one has locally and I don't wanna pay $10-15 shipping on a $20...

    new pics

Second what everyone else has said, the car looks great other than the hood which is way too big IMO. I was thinking of getting the same wheels for my white '90 GT for the longest time and I have to say they look awesome on it...

Why do we love fox bodies?

I decided to buy one because I wanted something with a fun RWD V8 drivetrain like a musclecar yet still modern enough to be reliable and comfortable as a daily driver... now as to why I chose the Fox over a SN95 mustang or an F-body: relatively inexpensive to buy, maintain, and build easy to...

new pics of my fox with FR500's

Sweet looking car. You got the wheel/tire setup and the stance perfect. I second keeping the stock hood. The car looks so clean right now. don't clutter it up with a cowl hood...

What radiator are you running with your DCC Controllers?

I run the 31x19" Griffin universal with a FAL VSC controller, similar to the DCC. Works great. The radiator is not a direct fit and requires some 'finessing' to install as it is literally the largest size you can squeeze into the fox chassis. However the benefit is that it is pretty inexpensive...

Two amp/sub setups... $100... which one?

I had those Kickers too, in my old Acura, the guy I bought it from told me he installed the system way back in 1996... but I used those subs until 2004 and they bumped loud and clear until I finally got rid of them.

Which gear oil & gasket for fox 8.8?

Couple easy questions I'm having a tough time finding the answer to... I'm changing out the axleshafts on my '90 GT. What weight gear oil does my rear axle take? Is there a real benefit to running synthetic? If I use a synthetic, do I still need to use friction modifier (I have heard that you...

    4 lug to 5 lug

'94-'95 Cobra spindles will work as well, as will '96-'04 GT or V6 spindles. The spindles stay the same across V6, GT and Cobra models but the design was changed every few years. '94-'95 spindles will keep the stock fox track width and are what most people here on stangnet reccomend. The '96-'98...

Taurus electric fan speed? (for stangs w/taurus fans)

I have mine wired to the high side running off a Flex a Lite variable speed controller (similar to the DCC). I haven't drove the car in anything warmer than 80* weather, so I don't think it's ever ran at full speed, but it's nice to know that it could if it needs to. The variable speed...

What size tires for Pony wheels?

Those tires look huge (in a good way)... what size are the fronts? Great pics BTW... once I get the new wheels on I hope I can take some nice shots of my car like yours...

Identify this Explorer GT40 Intake & Heads?

Weird, the spark plugs on the driver's side are definitely angled like they are on E7 heads, but on the passenger side head they are not... How will I be able to tell if the manifold has an EGR hole or not? Too bad the pics in Freaky's thread don't load anymore, I need to try and find pics of...

Identify this Explorer GT40 Intake & Heads?

I was at the junkyard today and happened upon a '97 Explorer 5.0L. The intake manifold had a sticker on it stating that it was produced 06/97. Now, I've read Freaky's Official Explorer Intake Thread and it states that the intake you want for swapping onto a Mustang and still passing emissions...

Anyone have pics of their lowered fox?

How do those MM springs ride and handle? I was looking at those too... stance looks perfect. Sportlines? Looks great. :nice:

    Eagle F1 GS-D3 Tires - Good choice?

Those are amazing tires, probably the best all-around street tire you can buy right now. My friend had them on his WRX and the handling was amazing on dry ground or wet. He had some pretty decent Dunlops on it before but the handling with the BFG's improved night and day. Obviously AWD helps...
