    I want to help, but you are still too vague. Is your problem with the BOLT or the BALANCER? Those are two different problems. If the bolt won't break loose, say so. If the bolt is out, but the puller won't break the balancer loose, say so. I don't know what that means.

    You lose. You only need 87. Ford cars requiring higher octanes will say "Premium Fuel Required' instead of 'Unleaded Fuel Only' on the dash. Higher octane will help stop pinging, but your car should be OK on 87.

    Clear Cover On Gauge Pod Removal

    There should be 10 or so screws that are holding the cover to the gauge cluster? You will need a Torx bit (T-15, IIRC) in order to remove them.
