    hate to be the one to bust the bubble, but I wouldn't do it. When the new owner the dealer sells the lightning to may find out down the road that something's not right. They'll trace it right back to your friend. If he's faced with some sort of big fine, he'll trace it back to you...

    Anyone have pics of the curved panels? I never noticed that there was a difference. I also never knew all 94/95's had fiberglass hoods. That's pretty cool. :nice:

    Firewall adjuster/clutch quadrant help

    sorryy to highjack the thread, but I have a problem with my clutch height since I got a firewall adjuster kit installed yesterday. Do you know if going to another hook on the quadrant will make the pedal any lower? My problem is that my clutch pedal is 2-3inches higher than the brake pedal.

    ok, I got the car back today. Now the clutch pedal is 2-3 inches higher than the brake pedal. I made a post in 5.0 Tech, and almost everyone says that's how theirs is to with the firewall adjuster. I like the pedal low and even with the brake pedal. Anyone have a solution how to take care of...

    NOw I see that's normal. when I had the other bbk quadrant, the pedals were even, and I liked the way the clutch engaged much better. oh well, i'll get used to it.

    Yup. I ordered that one too. I can't take another cable breaking. It broke about 4 to 5 times in the last 4 or so months. I really hope this will help. It should be much better. I think my problem was heat and cable routing like stated above. Longtubes and an SN95 I heard are common for that.

    Thanks Guys. I ordered the OEM Stock cable, firewall adjuster kitt from Maximum Motorsports. I also ordered a heat shield and some sort of insulator they sell for the cable. To be sure, I think I'll wrap the headers also. I'll also follow the instructions above to route the cable. Thanks...

    What will cause vibration over 85 mph?

    It was doing it before I got the aluminum driveshaft and now that I think about it, it was doing it before the TKO500 also. It drives me nuts!
