    help with 60' times!!!

    yeah there is a lot that plays into it.... lower the 60 ft. time, and you take that much plus more off of the e.t.... so if i got it down to a 1.8 my new 1/8th mile time would be closer to a 8.6..... How are the street manners with those springs musclecar??

    ok... my autozone replacement struts/shocks with who knows how many miles on em along with my mac lowering springs just arent working when takin the car to the track... my best 60' time so far has been a 2.07 :notnice: with bfg drag radials...i heat the hell outta em', but nothin it just spins...

    yup... its called pull all the trim off, and use some stuff called ever coat... its a body filler that can be put over paint... thats most likely how any body shop will fix it, if the dents arent to bad.. hell i just did mine and it was toasted... Its not a bondo bucket, but it did have a few...

    Texas inspections?

    what part of texas are you in??? Im just north of Dallas, and depending on the tech you take it too, you will either pass or fail the visual if any emission stuff has been tampered with... I had to find someone to hook it up since i no longer have my smog pump...

    yeah i have the same 2 1/2" bbk o/r h pipe too... i cant decide weither to use the mac dumps that came with it, or my flowmasters... i guess ill just put both on an see which one i like better...

    what kind of gain can i expect to see switching from stock headers, mac o/r h and flowmaster to bbk 1 5/8" long tubes, bbk o/r h and either my flows or mac pro dumps??? :shrug:

    ummm... low speed idle voltage... i believe its suppose to be no lower then .5 volts an no higher then .85... dont qoute me though...

    ok... i bought a set of bbk chrome 1 5/8" long tubes with a 2 1/2" collector... my dad has this theory that since the collectors only 2 1/2", the whole system will only flow 2 1/2".... will i still be loosing a lot of power??? ive already got a 2 1/2" mac off road h pipe i can go get for 75...

    well looks like i found a 306 freshly rebuilt shortblock with a tfs stage 1 cam and trw forged pistons... 400.00 bucks...
