Have to buy new rear shocks for my 91 gt. Just wanting some opinions on the best shock to buy not really any price range. They will be mainly used for street/strip use. Should I go adj. or non adj? Let me know your opinions.
Thanks for all the info on this Michael. I'm going to replace the 160 for a 180 as a start, then order up a temp guage for my a-pillar pod......I will soon have a home for it as the A/F ratio one has dazzled me enough with its useless lights ! I was aware that there were mixed reviews on the...
Point taken.....I'll get a temp guage and start from there. Seems there are differences of opinion about using a 160 thermostat. Any thoughts on this ?

The temp does come down as I am under an extended cruise. It senses temp by a temperature probe which is inserted through the foils in the rad beside the inlet hose to the rad. The fan is not on all the time but is pretty close to that. I have not checked the tstat function as it worked fine...
I believe the fan controller is running correctly. How would I be able to tell? The car is running just below the line that is above the the halfway line on the stock guage.
I have recently installed a flexlite black magic extreme fan and now my car runs a fair bit hotter then it did when I had just an ordinary flexlite fan. I have run it with the new supercharger with the normal fan and now with the electric fan due to clearance issues and it does not run as cool...
Finished up the install of my power pipe and electric fan. The air bag warning light is now lit and flashing. Can't see how these installs had anything to do with causing this to happen. Any thoughts ? Car is a 91 GT.
Ian.
I can get a volvo fan no problem as I am a apprentice at a volvo dealership. They have recalls on the fans and then replace them then throw them out they still work fine though.
Not sure if my IAB is working right or not. Question: what, if anything, happens when you disconnect the IAB while the car is running ? I disconnect mine and nothing happens...........is that normal.
Rick
No vacuum leaks that I know of. The car runs very well with no drivability issues at all. I'll have a look at that line off the FPR and see if that works.
