Its prolly bad then. take it off and throughly clean it with carb cleaner and reset the ECU by pulling the battery leads off the batt for a few minutes. and its the IAC not the IAB you are prolly reffering to (Idle Air Control;)

Idle Air Control (IAC) and Idle Air Bypass (IAB) are the same thing, just different names.

The IAC/IAB is supposed to help the car run with the A/C on, going from WOT to idle, idle, ect. I had problems with mine until I converted to MAF.
