    OPGI style restoration place?

I'm going to be purchasing a classic ford, that's going to need a few restoration pieces and I'm wondering if there's an Original Parts Group (http://www.opgi.com) type place for ford vehicles? I'm having trouble finding restoration sites. Thanks in advance. :flag:

So the front-end of my car was in a ditch...

What's up HISSIN! Yeah, I've got a few feelings it's either with some weird energy **** with the MARK VIII or my audio setup, I'll get down to fixing it this weekend probably. I drove it all day today, was a little raspy after sitting for 2 weeks, but all the better. Cheers fellas, and...

So the front-end of my car was in a ditch...

Neighbor was next door laughing at me trying to push it out originally, guess the jokes on him car spun out a few times trying to get it out of the ditch and flung mud all over his house.

So the front-end of my car was in a ditch...

I get home from work, and it's raining cats and dogs literally, only to find that the grassy area where the front tires of my 92 LX rest in my car port had totally sunk. The front tires were literally underwater. I grab my keys, try to fire up the car, and the damn battery is dead. So, ran...

    3G Alternator upgrade

I run a 200 AMP circuit breaker fuse. I know people running without a fuse, but it's probably not the best bet, if something happens you'll kick yourself in the ass for not buying a 13 dollar part. :nice:

Changing front and back breaks, what do I need!

Well, me and a buddy are gonna go at my breaks tommorrow. I've got disc in the front and drums in the back. What parts other than the obvious should I pick up when I go to grab pads and shoes. Thanks in advance, -J

backfire's and sputters at low rpm's

Sammmme problem, I get the sputting in the exhaust if I don't let the car warm up, like it's pissed or something. Well ****, if someone rolled me out of bed and started throwing me out the door I'd probably raise some hell too. Anyhow, I just pull over and let it warm up for a few more...

Ran a VAC test, help with results.

There's a vacuum line that comes from the back of the intake manifold to the egr vacuum regulator. From what I understand there's constant vacuum to that, the regulator opens up the second tube which is connected to the EGR and sends vacuum as needed. I'll try and pull from a tree later. I...

Ran a VAC test, help with results.

So I bought a guage for the hell of it to see what I'm getting. I've got a pretty big cam in the thing, it's pulling around 14" sometimes a little lower. The needle seems to bounce with the lope of the cam. When I give it a little gas the vac jumps to around 20+. Is this normal or do I have...

Alright folks, 1 more code and i'm clean.

85, canister purge solenoid. The solenoid has been removed, I'm going to buy a new one. I understand that there's an electrical connetion near the intake. My question is, there's also a line that runs from the fuel tank up to the solenoid? There's 1 line on the actual canister itself, it...

Think' bout reconnecting my EGR, few questions.

Alright, car seems fine with the thing plugged in, it even stopped throwing EGR codes, so that's great. I'm only getting one other code now, smog related as well. That damn canister purge solenoid. It's on the car, I believe I have the right part. It looks like a 'canister' one of the vacuum...

Think' bout reconnecting my EGR, few questions.

So I slapped the new part in, reversed the hoses and I still get slight vacuum at idle. I'm going to get a new battery for my voltmeter and check the TPS maybe it's way off, been ****ing with the idle a lot lately. Also, I hooked it up and drove it around with the EGR working and I gotta say I...

Think' bout reconnecting my EGR, few questions.

Welp, local ford dealer has the part, I'm just going to buy it. If it doesn't fix it, then I'm going to button all this back up and chalk it up as a loss.

Alright, switched the tubes, i still get a slight vacuum, but not like it was. Car doesn't go crazy when I plug it into the EGR either. My idle is set to about 900 er so, might that be the reason for the slight vacuum?

Think' bout reconnecting my EGR, few questions.

Yeah, the EGR was disconnected, I used to get a code saying no input from EGR or whatever. This morning I had vacuum on the EGR hose at idle, and with it plugged in the idle was horrible. When I took it off you could definately see it ****ing with the idle. Maybe I got the vacuum hoses...
