85, canister purge solenoid. The solenoid has been removed, I'm going to buy a new one. I understand that there's an electrical connetion near the intake. My question is, there's also a line that runs from the fuel tank up to the solenoid? There's 1 line on the actual canister itself, it appears to goto the passenger side vacuum setup. Thanks fellas.

I think there should be a line from the fuel tank hard vent line to the canister... then a separate one from canister to intake manifold.

The soleniod and connector for it is right at the canister. There should be a hard plastic black line that runs along the frame rail to the canister from the tank, and then there is a hose with the solenoid on it, that goes to a vacuum port on the intake somewhere. Usually I think it's right under the intake. Hope this helps.
