    will an 88 T5 bolt to an 84 5liter?

Not sure if the 84 came with the S-rod trany, but i think it did. In that case you need a different bellhousing to mount the t-5. The S-rod bellhousing works for the S-rod trany and the Tremic. If that is the case, I am sure you can find someone willing to swap bellhousings with you on the...

Well if it is a wax, you want to use something like Comet or Bon Ami. My windsheild got vasellined in high school once, and I used Bon Ami. I found it under my mom's sink, it was in a container that looked like Comet, but it was yellow. The substance is powdery and I sprinkeled it on the...

'68 GT Fastback as Daily Driver

My 68 used to be my daily driver. I used it as a DD for about 1 year, before the accident which took it off the road and motivated me to completly redo it. Anyway while it was my DD it saw about 10 road trips all of which were over 300 miles one way. I never had a problem with the car and it...

    Just got my flywheel reserfaced......

Depends if there is grease on the flywheel or not. I always spray down my new flywheels, clutch disks and pressure plates with brake parts cleaner. If it was me I would clean it to make sure there is no grease on it. Mario

What 89roadster said. Also check the strut mount, (the plate under the nut) and the strut itself for wear. Both of these items will give you the symptoms you are experiancing. Mario

    Firewall Cracked?

Also what is the "proper" routing of the cable. I think I have it right, after it attaches to the shock tower, I have it tucked in between the oil pan and the k - member under the motor mount, with a straight shot back to the clutch. Is it possilbe that I have a bad clutch causing this hard...

Someone told me that the combustion chamber was 60 CC on the DOOE heads. I looked through my Ford manual and it said that my 68 289 heads also had a 60 CC combution chamber. However, I was always under the impression that the combution chamber on the 289 head was 58 CC. What is the correct cc...
