I need a 28 oz, 158 tooth flywheel designed for 10.5" clutches. Where can I find this at? I checked out modern driveline, but $250 seems expensive since I can buy a new 50 oz 158 tooth flywheel for $100 and have it rebalanced for $50. Was this type of flywheel put on any car say maybe an early 80's 302, if so which one. I figure if I know what car it was put on I can get it at a parts store.

Thanks,

Mario

check out summit racing. they have flywheels in cast iron for about $100 or so. if you are willing to spend the $250, you can get a billit steel wheel from summit as well.

I looked at my 65 stang flywheel I have in storage and its a 157 tooth with a 28 oz and a 10.5 and 11 inch hole patterns so early stangs with a 4 speed should be the same.

Mine has a 157 tooth also, but you can always have the flywheel re ringed to a diff tooth count. I had one re ringed at a local machine shop for my 5.0 when my starter chewed the teeth off.
