Yea, with 140K I would start thinking about a clutch refreshening.
Also your sig says DRY shot, I thought a 75-100 was a no-no on a DRY shot, intensified with 140K (for all you know) MAF, not to mention I don't think the injectors or fuel pump could keep up with that through a dry shot...
I can't speak from experience, but from hearing others experience.
The car revs like normal, but the power isn't there.
Now in your situation it would be basically undetectable as for you to feel as though "the power isn't there" would be unlikely as A. You are still getting a NET power...
I heard that you can buy gaskets for the exhaxhaust connections. Has anyone ever done this, as I know when combining unalike brands some fitment issues have come up (I had to slave over fitting my BBK X to the Flows cat back, I fooled around with it for like 4+ hours and had to get a buddy to...
Your clutch must be slipping or you are spinning through the traps, or something.
You should be WAYYYY faster than that.
But I believe you said something earlier about expecting more power when you first sprayed, so you may have a god-awful AFR, who knows, but something is amiss.
Ok so I seem to have developed some sort of exhaust leak.
The leak only occurs when the car is under load.
It is some sort of ticking sound coming from the passenger side.
The sound is hard to find because it's hot as hell in there.
I don't think it's coming from the headers (BBK E/L...
It all depends on what you are looking for as an end-product.
But I would not hesitate to go with a 94-94 GT over a 96-98 for one second.
The parts are more plentiful due to the fact that it is a 5.0
If the hood is vibrating at any speed, then the hood will come up. It's progressively tugging at the mounts. Install the rubbers so it doesn't vibrate at all.
First and foremost the hood needs to be secure and motionless, it will greatly reduce the risk of cracking and flying up.
Also, I...
Nice, my dad is either looking at picking up an 05+ Stang or an STI, but he's leaning toward the STI since we live in MI. Also, he's older and the 4-doors might be safer and practical. It's still somewhat up in the air though.
What kind of mods have you done? I'm anxious as my dad is going to...
JMS always seemed like a very shaddy/shiitty company to me, their website-design has consistently been some of the shiitiest I've ever been to.
But I have to say, I am really interested in (a) rear-mount turbo(s).:nice:
Look at the sweet bumper cover alignment going on with the passenger side headlight pic. Does it look like it's been in an accident, albeit slight?
Also, the door panels are hacked for no reason, I'm not debating driving the damn thing, beat the piss out of it. That's what it's meant for, but...
Either way, IMO, the VT can be considered the most crucial part of the engine, it manipulates the flow characteristics of the entire engine, putting a little extra dough and reliability cannot hurt.
I would definately go with pedastal.
I always heard they were underrated at 240, I generally hear it's more like 270.
My friend ran his CAI and B&M shifter to the tune of [email protected], I think they are definately underrated at 240 "crank" HP.
Yea, be careful there isn't a something wrong with it.
There is something about buying a car that you can't even start up, suggesting motor problems, not to mention trans, suspension anything.
Most likely there isn't anything wrong, but you never know, if this might make or break you, then...
10X better!:nice:
I to always hated that look, very poor design team that didn't cover that, headlights can make or break the car, but now we have a solution, curious if you recommend any specific type or brand of stripping.
