    did you fill the converter before installing it? also.. you may need to check tighten the bands... if it is a new trans they almost always need adjusting.

    Pilot bearing removal

    So I made the mistake of leaving the pilot bearing in the crank on my 306. No that I have a C4 Ill need that out. So my question is, how do I get the bearing out when the motor is already in the car? thanks guys

    you can use the small bell and get a 158 tooth flex plate. it will be alot better for you in the long run... ie: more room to work around, less weight, etc. why are you looking for a pan fill? small bell, case fill out of a later model pass car is the way to go. :nice:

    Are the electric pumps OK for the ocasional street cruise? Id heard of people saying its not good to use them on a driver, just wondering if there any truth to that or if there are certain models that can be used?

    yeah..... dont do the 1-2-1 shuffle! Its very bad for the trans... built or not. Just leave it in drive, put it too the floor and let the trans shift on its own. Test have shown that the 1-D-1 shuffle isnt any faster then letting the tranny do the work. but like everyone else... sounds like...
