    C4 or C6 trans?

    I bought a trans from a guy that told me it was a C4 but it is a C6 instead. Whats the difference? Can a C6 be used in a Mustang? I paid $150 for it thinking it was a C4. Do I need to try to get my money back?:shrug:

    Cobra intake GT40 intake?

    Thanks guys! He bought the car with the GT40 intake on it and does not like the way it looks. I do like the way it looks but didn't want to pull my whole intake off to do the swap.

    Is there a difference between the two lowers? I have a friend that says he'll trade me his GT40 for my Cobra intake. Can we just swap uppers or do we have to swap the uppers and lowers? Thanks in advance for any help.

    I tried starting the car with the 87 harness in my 89 car but it didn't start. I bought an 89GT harness on Ebay, installed it and she fired right up. Thanks for the help!:nice:

    4 cyl to fi 5.0 swap

    I just got mine running today. I have a 89 4cyl coupe and I used a 5.0 from an 87. I had to buy a computer harness for an 89 because I had the same problem as you with the 87 computer harness. You can either change to the 89 gt underdash harness or use an 87 5.0 computer harness.

    2.5" H-pipe w/ factory headers?

    I had trouble getting a set to seal one time and it was because the opening on the H pipe was the same size as the hole on the header. I took a hammer and tapped the opening on the H pipe all the way around the hole to close it a little. Hope this helps.

    Both cars are 5 speed. Everything is connected except this. The donor car has the mate to this plug and the wires run up behind the dash into the maze of wires back there. Here is a pic of it. The 4cyl car does not have this.
