    Having problems removing wheel spacers....

Now the slide hammer is a possibility, never thought of that, hmmmmm.......... I tried hitting a small, skinny, screwdriver between the spacer and the rotor, but it was just bending the aluminum spacer edge. I tried going around the outside in different spots, but the screwdriver was just...

Removing wheel spacers.........they don't want to come off

I used lots of penetrating oil and let it soak for a while. I then tried tapping a screwdriver between the spacer and the rotor, but it wasn't budging. Actually, I was hitting the screwdriver pretty hard and it was bending into the edge of the aluminum spacer but not prying it away from the...

Removing wheel spacers.........they don't want to come off

I am putting on different wheels and need to go from a 1.375 inch spacer down to a 1 inch spacer. Well, when I put the ones I have on now, they were pretty tight. I had to tighten the lugs pretty snug just to pull them all the way tight against the hub. Now, they seem as if they are spot...

    Exhaust getting softer?

If it's stock, then I doubt the mixture is the cause of this. I would venture to guess that it is just the temperature fluxuation outside. In my experience, when it was warm or hot outside, as my car got good and warmed up, it would get louder. I'm sure you know this, but when it gets...

    Exhaust getting softer?

I know the A/F ratio will make a noticeable difference in the "lopiness" of the cam. If you are running very rich, it will drown out the choppiness, whereas it seems to cripen up when ran leaner. Do you have an AFPR and fuel pressure gauge?

New intake baffle fabbed up for oil control!!! (pics inside)

Do you have any pics of your valve cover baffles? Did you just reuse the stock baffle or make your own? I'm getting ready to fab my own and am trying to get ideas of what works best.

How many here are using crane 1.7 rockers with the stock valve covers?

With no oil baffle, there is a good chance you'll start sucking in a bunch of oil. There are several people on this site who are currently dealing with this problem. I have a hole in both valve covers and my driver's side is sucking oil like it's going out of style. I am trying to figure a...

Any opinions on clutch to handle 500WHP?

Correct, but given the original topic and go-stang5.0's comment of "but you still have goodholding power up high where you make the hp," I didn't want to mention anything less than the Dual Friction, might throw some people off. :)

Any opinions on clutch to handle 500WHP?

This is how the Centerforce Dual Friction is designed, very nice clutch in my opinion.

How do U recomend keeping inj from draining fuel when changing motors?

In your trunk there is a relay, I believe on your driver's side. You have to pull the trunk plastic lining away first. There is a connector that clips into the "relay", unplug this. This cuts off the fuel supply to your motor. You then start your car and let it run til it uses up whatever...

Any opinions on clutch to handle 500WHP?

In my experience, this is exactly what the Centerforce is best at. Sure there are clutches that will hold more power, but the CF drives closest to stock and is not near as hard on your tranny, yet will still hold up very well. Just my 2 cents though.

Any opinions on clutch to handle 500WHP?

I have the Spec Stg. II on my car now. I am happy with it, it's definitely more on/off than the stock clutch, but not too bad. I had a Center Force Dual-Friction in my 89 and was very happy with it. It drove very smooth, easy engagement, absolutely not chatter, and is built to hold a...

Man this looks AWESOME... (Smoked tails)

Looks great! I am looking to do this real soon. Would it be possible to tint the inside of the taillights?? I would think it wouldn't wear off as fast as it would not face the elements, just the heat from the light.

Which Wheels Do You Prefer - 2003 or 1995 Cobras in Chrome or Silver?

That may be in true in some cases, however not in all, more specifically not in my experience. I have had option C. " Silver/Polished 1995 Cobra R Wheels" in the polished form, and they were a bear to maintain. If you are going to get polished, I would highly recommend making sure they do...

Which Wheels Do You Prefer - 2003 or 1995 Cobras in Chrome or Silver?

I have had about every kind of finish on a wheel I can think of and I still am a fan of the silver, looks classy yet subtle. If I were you, although I love the machined 03's, I would get the silver R's in 17in. I think they look awesome on red foxes when cleaned up. I agree that sometimes...

    Nice Notch

I don't know yet what I think about the other cars posted, but I think the red notch in the original post looks very nice. As a whole package that is: the color, the body kit, the wheels, and especially the stance all work well with each other. Looks sharp, not ricey IMO!
