I am putting on different wheels and need to go from a 1.375 inch spacer down to a 1 inch spacer. Well, when I put the ones I have on now, they were pretty tight. I had to tighten the lugs pretty snug just to pull them all the way tight against the hub. Now, they seem as if they are spot welded and I am having one hell of time getting them off. Anyone else run into this problem? I'm looking for ideas on how to remove these things? thanks in advance

= SPACER OFF

Now the slide hammer is a possibility, never thought of that, hmmmmm..........

I tried hitting a small, skinny, screwdriver between the spacer and the rotor, but it was just bending the aluminum spacer edge. I tried going around the outside in different spots, but the screwdriver was just gouging into the aluminum, but not creating a gap where I wasn't tapping.

At this point, I think the grinder would help allow some room for expansion :fuss: crapola
