    Late model seat ?

I have a copy of the Mustangs Plus catalog that shows the seat pan mod. I have no problem shortening the pans, but the 05 and newer seats are much longer, front to back, so the pans would need to be extended as well. I'd like to eliminate the pans all together and go with some cross bracing (1x3...

    Late model seat ?

Anyone put 07-09 Mustang seats in a 65/66? If so how did you deal with the floor pan height/ head clearance issue? I picked up a set of 08 Shelby, black, leather seats that I'd like to put in my 66 coupe.

    Custom Rear Suspension sources?

70vert, I wouldn't mind those measurements if you can get them. I wanted to buy their setup but they were already out of business by the time I had the money saved up. Now that's spent and if I can make it out of a buch of seperate parts all the better.

    Will these subframes work?

I've had those on my 66 coupe for 15yrs now. Competetion Engineering brand. I would weld them after you bolt them on though. I haven't gotten that far and now I'm pulling them for a set of homemade connectors similar to Tinmans.

    seat pan ?

I have subframe connectors on there now but I'm replacing them with a newer set. I'm not sure if i want to tie into the rockers but the cars far from stock anyway so it might not be that big of a deal. I was planning on adding torque boxes but didn't have the time or money when I did the...

    seat pan ?

My original post may have been a bit confusing:rolleyes: I've installed new floor pans already but the seats I'd like to use will be too tall if I install the seat risers. I'm looking to lower the seat by about 2 inches which cuts out almost all of the rear portion of the riser. The tracks on...

    seat pan ?

How important are the seat pan risers to the structural integrity of a 66 coupe? I bought set of 07 Shelby seats but they site too high on stock risers. I was going to do the pan drop but I don't think that will be enough. I want to keep the power setup for the drivers seat so modifying the...

Where are you in Florida? I heading down to Ft. Lauderdale tomorrow, unfortunately for my 8 yr old niece's funeral. Let me know if they'll work and I might be able to get them down there. Worst case my parents have a place in Flagler Beach that they'll be heading to in November I believe....

    Bumpsteer inexpensive solution ideas??

The stock tie rod sleeve is way too short for the heim. I'm in the process of making tie rod sleeves since I built my own R&P setup using Randall's rack as a guide. I'm using 1.25" DOM tubing with a .375" wall for the sleeves. Just need to mill out the 5/8" hole to tap the 11/16" reverse threads...

    Bumpsteer inexpensive solution ideas??

Actually Speedway Motors has these and the studs for adjustment very cheap. I have both on my 66 coupe right now. The only issue with the studs would be reaming out the spindle tie rod hole to accept the larger taper on the stud. I have Granada spindle so that wasn't an issue at all. They just...

    Spindle differences?

Other than the spindle size itself what are the major difference in 66 vs. 70 mustang spindles? I have a set of each for my 66 coupe (lowered, R&P, Bullitt wheels) and I'd like to use the 70's but I'm worried about bad bump steer like I currently get from the Granada's that are on the car now.

    Cameo Cowl Panel Mod.

I did this to my 66 coupe a few years back when I redid the $6000 paint job that didn't last a year:mad:.... I cut a hole in the firewall under the fender and ran a 3" flex hose to the back side of the heater box. The hose stops just past the top of the tire for maximum draw. I tried a few...

    Front hub?

Are there any dimensional differences between 68/9 hubs and 65/66's? I have two sets of spindles for my 66 but no hubs ad a set of 69 hubs from my old Falcon wagon. Will they work without issues???

I bought these off a friend who had them in his 67 coupe. he said they would fit my 66 but that's not happening..:notnice: They were on his car for 2 years without a problem. I did cut the collector ends off to use with my slip fit ball collectors before I found out they wont work:rolleyes...
