    short block is just the block plus roatating assembly ( pistons, crank, rods, and timing chain ) long block is the short block + heads and oil pan and some times water pump. ;)

    welll, im taking my car out one last time before winter and im going to the track sunday to race my friends camaro. Is it OK to run 110(Unleaded of course) ocatne and bump the timing? it donest like it past 13 right now with 93. what could i bump the timing to SAFELY with 110? i looooove the way...

    Why is running open headers bad...

    The reason is because your valves cool off to quickly after every exhaust stroke causing the heating and cooling of the valves resulting in valve seat wear, etc...

    my friend bought one for his 79 chevy truck and it came today. i wanna hook it up temporarily to the stang and mess with it i know where the power and lights go, bt theres 2 other wires, one goes to the coil, where do i pt that? and the other goes to the tach something? where do i put these? thanks!

    I pulled out those bosch platinums and put in some motorcrafts, when i pulled them i found that theyre looked to be a little whiteish. Aso there was oil on every one all around the base. whats up guys?! THANKS!!!

    i got good tight connections, but still a little noise, how do i fix this? someone said something about a ballast resistor? and when i try to turn it off it wont go off and just says adjust. whats that all about? thanks
