My uncle got me a bag of slag for sandblasting, its fairly coarse and dont seem to want to work good with my Craftsman sandblaster, keeps clogging and wont come out, Would I have better luck with play sand? This stuff they use at his work to clean concrete off forms and equipment, I just need...

    Should I buy this 351c?

I have a set of D1ZE-GA heads and they are CC, I think 71' was the last year for the CC heads, although they did make OC heads for the cobra jet 351 in 1971? The Boss heads were 67cc because of the pop up pistons they used which made compression 11.7 to 1 i've read, Boss and regular CC heads...

Took apart the 351c 2v today.

IM debating wether to build it or buy one off the net, the places around here want more to build it then I can get a built one off the net for. Anyway one cool thing was I thought it was a 72' block but taking the heads off revealed the flat top high compression pistons and standerd size bore...

    Should I or Shouldn't I?

As far as I can tell the only appearence difference on the Mach 1 vs. the BOSS 351 was the BOSS 351 decal on the front fender in place of the Mach 1. It should actually outperform the original BOSS 351, it will be making about 100 more HP with a more radical cam/intake/carb and 4:11 outback. I...

IM debating making a BOSS 351 clone out of my 1973 Mach 1, It seems common with the earlier fastbacks to make then Shelby clones but I was wondering what your opinions are on this? Im never going to try to sell it or pass it off as a real Boss 351 but I always liked the decals and the sound of...

    Hows this price sound?

OK thanks, the shop i quoted before to rebuild mine for 2500-3k seems to be very overpriced. I went there to get a quarter inch adapter for my 2 brake line peices from the master cylinder to the proportioning valve there about 6in each they told me they also bend them so i figured i minds well...
