I have an upgraded wiring harness from suvlights.com
I'm sure I will not have an issue with wiring...just wanted to know if the housing will be affected by using high watt bulbs
I'm not into blue lights either. Just want pure white. I have Silverstars. Don't know what the car looks like at night with them yet (car is in the shop).
Has anyone experienced the actual headlight housing melt or become discolored from using higher wattage headlight bulbs?
I am aware of the issues with the socket, wiring, and/or light switches melting/burning from not using an upgraded harness.
I am only concerned with the headlight...
So has anyone else experienced the MGW Gripper getting too hot in the summer like ShadowGT mentioned happens to him?? I was interested in getting one. THX
BADPONYsc I have sealed all of the housings up with clear silicone. I didn't need to touch the headlight housings. I do need to seal the signal housings a little better on the bottom because I still have a very small spot that air/moisture can get in that wasn't sealed by the manufacturer. What...
Drilled a hole in the bottom of the signal housings and they still fog up. Even if you leave the bulb out of the housing (which is a big hole) they still fog up. BlackFox5.0 I will try and seal the entire lens
Are the majority of microfber towels all about the same? In other words, are there some that are better than others? I see them in Walmart, Costco, etc. and numerous places online. THX

The IDQ 12's are rated at 350WRMS. They are also much cheaper than the IDMAX. I see you live in NJ. I bought my IDQV2 15" from the Raceway Mall in Freehold from Palace Electronics. They have lots of top of the line equipment and great price. They are also an ImageDynamics dealer
