    Stupid Question

The fuel filter filters fuel as it goes from the tank to the engine. There should be an arrow on the filter showing the direction that the fuel should flow. If its a motorcraft filter. I *THINK* the rounded part goes on the line going to the engine. But follow the arrow to be sure.

Quick question...does a 245 tire fit in the rear?

Hey quick question guys, I'm getting my tires mounted and balanced in tomorrow. I'm going straight from work, so I'm bringing the tires with me. Just wanted to check if a 245/50/16 tire will fit in the rear on stock 16" pony wheels? or do I have to do anything to the quad shocks?

    Stereo recommendation

I'm a big Pioneer fan. Alpine is nice too, but more pricey. I got my PIoneer DEH-4800MP for like 130 shipped, with all the harnesses and dash kit from sounddomain.com. Good place to shop.

about to replace shocks/struts. help with steering rack

Not hard at all. The rubber steering rack bushings wear out, and a lot of people like to go with Maximum Motorsports bushings. Some are 2 piece, some are 1 piece. You'll have to check what you have. The front bushings are no problem. For the rear bushings you have to disconnect the two bolts...

    should i make this trade

I agree. You already know what your car needs. You never know what you could be getting yourself into with someone else's car, especially when you he's built the motor and tranny, both high dollar items.

I stripped the threads in the steering rack

Just like the title says. Sucks. Anything to look out for when tapping new threads. I plan on sticking a little piece of lint free cloth in the hole to prevent metal fiilings in the system, then flushing it real good. Oh, and anyone know what size tap i'd need ? Its for the high pressure side.

    Who mounts your tires?

I've been looking at tires...I need at least 2. The prices are good online, but then when you add them to the price of mounting/balancing, I found i'm not saving any money. I called one place and they wanted 35.00 a wheel to mount and balance. Who mounts your tires?

Hey guys, I need some help. I'm taking out my steering rack and am trying to disconnect the high pressure line. Does anyone know what size the fitting is that connects to the rack? I can't find my 18 mm wrench and am hoping that is not the one I need.
