    1969 ps pump leaking. son picked one up from oreilleys, looks to me to be wrong. im taking it back. had a big fill hole about 1 1/2 across anybody know what they look like? i only know 67 pumps.btw-hose hookups were all wrong.

    i did it on mine. hard part was the ASSist spring under the dash. shortened the driveshaft, installed pedal. hardest part was the boot on the shifter-go figure.....

    engine mods are easy. hardstuff is dealig with rust. unless you are well equipped. get a powerful flashlight and look up under the dash at the cowl vents.(circular openings). they rust then leak. when they leak water pools in the driver floorboard. driver floor look under car- rusty floorboards...

    those are pressed in studs with valve stems above retainers = rail rockers. if someone has a better answer, forget what i said.
