    Well i will already have bbk headers, bassani x-pipe, flowmasters, 3:55 gears, and about an extra $7-800 at least left over for some more mods... so i could make it a pretty quick car... How do i do a compression check?

    Does 225,000 Miles seem like too much though even though it has a rebuilt motor with 55k... and i would throw in a new tranny... cause that was all im worried about is the high mileage

    I know this guy who has a 89 GT... says its the police interceptor.. i havent looked at it yet... anyways it has 225,000 miles on it but the motor was rebuilt 55k miles ago... it is primer, the synchros are out on the 5 speed, but other than that there is no rust, dents, and the interior is good...

    Cant figure out this screeching noise!!!

    It drives fine... runnin a little slow but now i have found out i ran into a whole new problem... i put in a 28oz flexplate but i still have a 50 oz harmonic balancer... would that be the problem?

    My old 50 oz flexplate was bad and i had to get a new one... ended up getting a 28oz... so would a 50oz harmonic balancer and 28 oz flexplate cause any sort of squealing?? Because that would explain a lot

    No... my old flexplate got all bent and deformed somehow i guess from old age or heat and was grinding inside the tranny... so i put in a new flexplate and converter while i was at it... workd fine for the first two days after i had it back in then started makin this noise

    Could try that... torqued them at 32ft./lbs with loctite as recommended
