    Virginia Beach

Anyone know of a good shop in or around Virginia Beach that will do an aod to t-5 swap? I fear that the automagic trans I currently have is going south on me and if I'm going to have to spend money on a transmission, it may as well be the kind that I want. Ike By the way, what happened to...

Transmission, U Joint, or just the way it is?

Ive got a 93 5.0 automatic. When I start it up for the day and get going, for the first mile or two if I'm rolling through my neighborhood at like 20 mph when I let my foot off the gas pedal the whole car lurches a couple times and then smooths out. I figure it could be a worn U Joint (its...

If you use rivets, make sure to protect the paint on the door. That big rivet gun can kick a little when it pops.:bang:

    FMS B spring install

Thanks for all the info. I'm still considering my options, but it will probably involve some cc plates and offset steering rack bushings.

    FMS B spring install

Im running 245/50's all the way around. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but a front end alignment wont be enough to correct the negative camber. I'm going to need cc plates for that. Right? :flag:

    FMS B spring install

Brand new prothane insulators and FMS B springs. I may just switch back to the stock front springs and leave the B springs in the rear. That might level out the ride height.

    FMS B spring install

Sorry about the pics. As soon as I posted the previous message my wife came and informed me it was time to go to Walmart. So, let me try again. The tires arent rubbing, but I thought the drop for the B springs wouldn't be this dramatic. Do I need to think about cc plates and offset...

    FMS B spring install

I just installed a set of FMS B springs with prothane insulators, should the front of the car sit this low and is this this too much camber on the wheels. When I drive there is no bump steer. Just wondering. Ike

Headlights, Where is waldo (the fuse)

funny thing Chris, I work for the Navy and when the radars are radiating on base, all the guages in my friends Excursion will peg out in right in front of our building. Also, one of the big Ford dealers here has a problem when the Jets are flying low to approach for landing. It seems that...

Will a pickle fork really remove tie rod ends?

I have been outside all day trying to install a set of FMS B springs on my 93 hatchback. Rears went without incident. I get to the front and I cannot get the tie rod end to come loose. Can someone explain to me in detail how to use a pickel fork to get it loose. I'm sure the answer is "put...
