    I think its on there in case the engine catches on fire. then the tabs melt and it blankets the motor. Our two piece plastic hoods dont have the 'heat/paint' issues previously experienced with the older steel hoods... .02

    A blower. You wont get those times with 'bolt-ons' unless you want to ruin the car as a daily driver... If i owned a 96-98 cobra, i would buy the small kenne belle TS blower, add an exhaust and be content with 380-400rwhp... :flag:

    LOL. not to flame, but if that's the case, why dont you test that theory by bolting on some 1/2" exhaust pipes to your headers. And while your at it, why dont you strap some pizza cutters in place of your rear wheels, as i'm sure tire width doesn't affect traction either. LOL
