    Is a 96 Explorer motor worth rebuilding for my 94 mustang? I have tons of miles on my current motor stock mustang motor. Was looking to just build it, a little at a time. Then just swap out the motors. Rather than pull the motor out then rebuild. What are the cons of doing this?

    Went to Autozone and rented a compression test tool pulled all the plugs out and tested each cylinder. turned the car over a few seconds then went ot the next cylinder. They all came out to be 75. Can a car run well with numbers that low? The car is all stock with x pipe and flows welded...

    I have a complete explorer motor in the garage. Can I just install the explorer lower intake only on my GT? The reason is, I do not have an elbow,YET, but I would like to measure the difference at the track. From what ive read the GT Lower is the worst part of the GT's intake system...

    Going to call the autozone thermostat crap as well. put in a FORD Tstat. and the guage is now running on the N of normal. I had to go across town last night(30 mileseach way) doing about 70-80, Temps stayed cool. :) Thanks for the help guys.

    I might look for an upgrade for the radiator instead of just a autozone replacement. I have a few more things I'd like to try before i do that. If all goes well i'll have time for a little more maintenance again this weekend. OEM T-stat, few more hoses...
