    Surging Idle and Smoke

The computer on the 94 -95 cars use timing to control idle if there is a rich or lean condition. I would guess that because you just put on alum heads you are getting more air and you may be lean. The adaptive control in the EEC can only adjust the fuel about +/-10% then the timing takes over to...

    Question about aftermarket MAF's

I have had great luck with Pro-m. I am tring to put on a granatelli now (3 months++) No support from tech, back order, wrong connector to factory harness... it never ends. Pro-m will give you accurate readings, they come with a flow sheet if you have a tuner of some sort. I wish I stayed with...

    Intake fit under stock hood?

Just for a comparison I have a 94 GT with the Trickflow Trackheat intake and a 1 Inch spacer under a STOCK Hood. I did some mods but it did fit. For starters I removed the EGR tube and blocked each end with a penny and the original nut. Don't laugh it fits perfectly. As long as you don't pull...

Is there a way to get your a/f close?

You can buy a fuel presure gauge at most auto parts store around $30.00 it goes on the schrader valve on the front of the passenger side fuel rail. Just to be clear you are not adjusting you A/F.... only your fuel pressure. The EEC will try to set the A/F. with 19lb Inj you shouldn't need much...

Is there a way to get your a/f close?

Without knowing what Inj size you have I can only say what worked for me. I have my FPR set to around 42psi (no Vac) If you put the vac on I am around 39 to 40psi. I did find that clearing my KAM after making adjustments helped the car run better as well. Always take the car for a ride after...

    Top End Rebuild problems...

This could be a long shot but did you adjust your valves correctly??? If they are too tight your engine could feel like it is straining. The setting is usually 1/2 to 3/4 turn after zero lash. If they are tight and you keep driving it will wipe out your cam..

I just got done adjusting my idle..... Pain in the a##!!! :bang: :bang: but it is finally idleing pretty good. Try this but don't forget once you connect the IAC and blip the throttle a few times it sets the computer, so any major adjustment after that will make it worse. The trick is to get...
