    My bearing retainer broke off right at the base where it was mounted to.. felt like crushing pop cans with my feet.. went to a steel one, feels smoother than before the old one broke..

    Well i bought the Flexolite fan kit that came with a controler.. I have a hot and ground coming from the fan to the control box, ground from box to battery, and a constant hot from the box to solonoid...no wthe instructions say i can run the smaller red wire thats i have attached to the solonoid...

    Finalyl got the mustang down the road... runs strong.. but when i push in the clutch at a stop sign the car either surges and dies, or just dies.. just wondering if this is what i hear about the computer eventually fixing.. or something i have to do.. ideas?     Alright i have installed a large electric fan in the stang. and ran it to a constant hot on the solonoid, so even if the key is off the fan will run untill the temp guage trips it off.. now i also have a brand new optima battery and underdrive pullies, i put the larger pulley on the alternator...

    Well so bacically my problem is all my power is going into a large grounded source, which is overloading the cables? well i was inspecting the alternator harness and noticed some wires poking out of what at the time i believed to be something like a fuseable link *before i saw the wires poking...

    what connections would you say? the only wires that feel hot are the pos and neg cables.. wouldnt something small just blow a fuse if it was pulling that many amps??

    cables are new... could the alternator be pulling that many amps off the battery to make it get that hot if there was something a miss there? something that is not fused would have to be pulling amps otherwise i fuse would just blow im assuming?

    Both positive and negative battery cables get smoking hot when car is turning over and while started.. replaced starter and checked starter wire for possible shorts, no luck.. engine fires and dies, then no power to even turn the motor over, wires smoking by then..     Installing bbk equal length shorties, do i have to lift the engine to get em in there or are they supposed to fit just fine..
